    While envisioned as a full-time position, for the ideal candidate we could design a part-time or reduced-hours schedule with built-in flexibility.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for providing a full range of services to multiple clients including paying bills and recording deposits and disbursements in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
    • Cash flow management
    • General ledger reconciliation including identifying and posting accruals/prepaids, posting depreciation, etc.
    • Processing payroll
    • Monthly and quarterly report creation and preparation to meet client specifications
    • Communication with clients and with management

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in accounting
    • Understanding of accrual basis accounting, monthly and annual reconciliations
    • Ability to handle multiple clients
    • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and through email
    • A willingness and strong ability to learn
    • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working in a cloud-based environment
    • General Ledger software experience (QuickBooks, Dynamics, Sage, etc.)

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Payroll management experience, including knowledge of federal, Ohio, local, and Section 125 withholding
    • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
    • Understanding of depreciation, financial statement presentation, and not-for-profit accounting
    • OfficeTools Workspace or other workflow management software experience
