The IRS has officially announced that the 2025 tax filing season will begin Monday, January 26th. We will update this website with information as it becomes available. Current clients should expect to receive an email from us with important information regarding the tax season

Knowledge Based Authentication Update:
Due to an increased focus on security and protection of client tax data, all signers must verify their identities using Knowledge Based Authentication before electronically signing the IRS efile Signature Authorization (IRS Form 8879). Our partner, ShareFile, which hosts our client portal and electronic signature service, uses IDology, a third party service to help perform this verification service. The use of your personal information for these purposes will have no effect on your credit report, credit score, or reporting to lenders. It is important to note that Zimmerman & Co CPAs does not control or enter the information used to verify your identity. To opt out, or to use a different method to sign your tax documents, or if you have any other questions, please contact our office.
