Accounting for Kids

DET3 Foundation
Helped to organize this organization who serves to support our troops in Afghanastan. We did all work to gain 501c3 status for this organization and continue to donate our time to provide all accounting and tax services to this organization. www.det3.us
SOTENI
Serve as accountant and advisor for this organization allowing it to apply for significant grants to continue its worthwhile work. In addition, Emily Marsh, an accountant with Zimmerman & Co., has traveled to Kenya with this group and helps with fundraising and projects locally. www.soteni.org
Partners in Education
Work with the Forest Hills School District to pull together businesses and schools to share knowledge and energies. For instance, our firm was a participant in the Nagel Middle School Career Day, showing these students what it means to be an accountant and encouraging them to give it a try through many interactive activities. www.foresthills.edu
Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce
Acted as committee chairs, board members, event volunteers for projects and events of this dynamic group, too numerous to list. Our firm sees this as an essential way of giving back to our community and helping our entire community to succeed together. Greater Anderson Township Betterment Commission (GATBC)
Anne serves as Treasurer of this community group, appointed by the Trustees of the township. Leap Beyond Therapy

Acted as treasurer and advisor to Victoria Wulsin, M.D., as she ran for the U.S. Congressional seat in Ohio’s 2nd district.
THE FACIAL FOUNDATION
Did the accounting work for this unique organization to help support its mission to provide pro bono facial reconstructive surgery for victims of domestic violence, other violent crimes, accidents and injuries, until the organization recently lost its funding.
